GRACIELA NOEMI GHIRARDOSI ART
Graciela Noemi Ghirardosi is an artist from Buenos Aires, Argentina. She had a strong formation in painting in her early years, but later she pursued a career in science and graduated as a veterinarian in 2000. After working as a Veterinary Doctor for some years, she moved to Abu Dhabi in 2009 and she returned to her painting activity 8 years ago using mixed media as her favourite choice.
She has participated in many Exhibitions in UAE at Manarat al Saadiyat (organized by the Department of Culture and Tourism of Abu Dhabi), Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, Etihad Modern Art Gallery, Abu Dhabi Art Hub, Al Qattara Arts Centre (Al Ain), Dubai Opera, Dubai Design District, the 2018 Ras Al Khaimah Fine Arts Festival, World Art Dubai 2019 as solo artist, and Tashkeel Dubai in 2022.
She took part in the Year of Tolerance painting project for Abu Dhabi Municipality in 2019 and the International Art Festival of Umm Al Quwain under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development of UAE in 2020.
In 2021, her artworks were exhibited in the Embassy of Argentina to the UAE for International Women’s Day, she was one of the finalists of the Noon Arts Award organized by the Collage Art Center of Sharjah Ladies Club and she participated in the Dubai Art Expo in Meydan Hotel and Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood under the patronage of the Minister of Tolerance and Dubai Culture.
She participated in the Sustainable Development Goals Through the Arts project organized by United Nations UAE and ZeeArts exhibited at the UN Hub in Expo 2020 Dubai and kept as part of the permanent art collection of United Nations UAE.
Internationally, she took part in exhibitions in Argentina, in Buenos Aires Stock Market and Siranush Art Space, the 2018 Tbilisi Art Symposium in Georgia, the Mauritius International Art Fair in 2019 and 2022, the Salon International d’Art Contemporain - Art Shopping at Carrousel du Louvre in Paris in 2018 and 2019 and in ArtExpo New York in 2022. In 2023 she participated in the Night of the Museums organized by Buenos Aires City Government.
As part of her creative personality and ever-growing interests, she recently took on the challenge of writing and illustrating children’s stories with an environmental focus and she published “Mr. No Litter”, her first children book.
